FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What am I getting?
A museum-quality giclée print of a hand-painted original — or the original painting itself, if the listing says Original. The photos show the real piece.
Are the prints signed and numbered?
The mini Pokémon prints are — signed and numbered, edition of 25. Other prints are not all signed and numbered.
What sizes are available?
Mini prints come in 8×8 or 16×16. Canvas prints run 12×18 up to 32×48. Originals are the size they were painted at.
How long until my order ships and arrives?
Prints ship within 5–7 business days. Delivery takes about 7–14 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping is calculated at checkout — whatever it shows there is what you pay. Duties and taxes are on you.
Can I return a piece?
Art is final sale — no returns, refunds, or exchanges on originals or limited-edition prints. If your piece arrives damaged or wrong, email me within 14 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and the piece, plus your order number, and I'll replace it.
How do commissions work?
Painted originals start at $1,000 with a 50% deposit. A drawing printed on canvas (no paint) starts at $600. Budget first — tell me what you want and what you can spend, and we'll find the right fit. Start on the commission page.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Email me within 14 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and the piece, plus your order number. Replacement first, refund only if I can't remake it, and the replacement ships at no cost to you.
What if the original I want is sold out?
For sold-out 8×8 Pokémon originals, I can paint a brand-new painting of the same Pokémon — new pose, painted just for you — for $200. One-of-one originals are never repainted as the same piece.
In 2021, while still working my job in Medicare insurance, I decided to give art a real shot — selling my work on the side. The response was immediate. People weren't just buying paintings; they were connecting with them.
God’s hand was in motion
In 2022, God moved again — I was laid off. Instead of despairing, I took it as the blessing it was and gave my art everything I had. Commissions came. Media features followed.
But the accolades were never the point. My true motivation is spreading joy, inspiration, encouragement, and hope through my paintings. Every stroke carries resilience and determination — the same two things that carried me. My motto is simple: the hustle will make the dream the reality. That's why I continue to create today.
The Name
I'm an artist in every sense of the word — music, dance, acting, poetry. I love to play on words. People call me Dee, and the core of a person is the heart. Art made to live on your walls is called décor. Put them together and you get Deecor — because in every piece, I give you something from my core: artwork from my heart, for your walls.
The style has a name, too — I coined it elevated graffiti. It's the city's graffiti grown up: the same bold color, splatters, and drips, but painted slow, with purpose and detail, to live in homes and galleries. Chaos mixed with order — because that's what life is, and that's what resilience looks like.
